Meet Dr. Saroj Kumar Saha

Dr. Saha’s motivation to become a periodontist started with his own parents. His parents are from rural Bangladesh and did not have access to dental care. As a child, Dr. Saha saw the importance of periodontal care as his parents lost several teeth throughout the years and always seemed to have dental issues. In addition he saw the systemic relationship develop as both of parents managed their periodontal and diabetic condition together. This motivated Dr. Saha to become a periodontist not only to perform procedures but provide long term management of periodontal disease for his patients.

While not practicing periodontics, Dr. Saroj Kumar Saha enjoys spending time with his dog, Henry the doodle dog, and with his wife, Lauren, a pediatric cardiac ICU nurse at the Children’s Hospital Colorado. They recently had their first child, Jack Badal Saha. They can found walking the perimeter of Wash Park or adventuring in the mountains.  Dr. Saha is passionate about sports especially Michigan football.  He is always interested in talking about sports with his patients.

Dr. Saha received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2008.  He then completed dental school at the University of Michigan where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery. After dental school, Dr. Saha trained locally at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and received a certificate of Periodontics with a Masters of Dentistry and a certificate in IV conscious sedation.

He is currently active in several organizations including the Academy of Periodontology, Colorado Dental Association, and the Metro Denver Dental Society. He is LANAP certified and board certified, diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is the previous past president of the Rocky Mountain Society of Periodontists currently.

Dr. Saha is a specialist in preserving and enhancing his patient’s natural smile. He works hard with his patients to achieve a personal connection with each patient and develop a personalized treatment plan.

This gentleman desired a brighter smile, but wanted a natural look to suit his face. New veneers were handcrafted to look completely natural, and his smile was designed to better support his face.

A long time Aspenite didn’t like her two front teeth. After proper analysis and a Smile Test DriveTM we determined it was a more complex problem than just two teeth. Her bite had destroyed her teeth and smile, and aged her face. So we fixed her bite and smile using our Ageless Smile algorithm, which turned back the clock.

This 40 something Aspen and Sydney resident presented looking for a better smile. Because after 2 rounds of Invisalign and plenty of whitening, he was still left wanting. This hospital exec traveled for a couple of hours in search of the smile of her dreams. Her lack of tooth display was due to a skeletal issue known as an impacted and retrognathic maxilla, which means her upper jaw was too far up and back causing her smile to show less tooth volume and less lip support than ideal. We designed a new smile to correct that deficiency by making her teeth longer and building them out for more tooth support.
