COVID-19 Safety
We very much look forward to taking care of you, and we would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that your health is, and always has been, our number one priority.
We have always had the highest of standards in our dental instrument sterilization process while also utilizing medical-grade cleaning products and aseptic protocols in all of our treatment areas after every patient. And even in our non-clinical areas, we have maintained consistent and thorough cleaning processes.
But as a medical service provider, we realize that it is our job to act as a leader when it comes to public health. So to that end, we have implemented the following additional safety precautions to protect our patients’ health that you will undoubtedly notice around the office:
- Please expect and be understanding of the following changes to your experience at our office:
- Dental Aerosol Extractors for treatments which offer a powerful fan to draw in dental aerosol particles directly into the filtration system. The system releases the filtered air back into the surrounding room therefore improving the indoor air quality of the dental office. High quality filters include HEPA Filters (up to 99.97% efficiency on particles 0.3 microns and larger), ULPA Filters (up to 99.9995% efficiency on particles 0.12 microns and larger), and activated carbon filters for chemical fumes.
- Medical Grade Filtration H13 true HEPA air purifiers in each treatment room to collect the .003% the above may have missed at the source.
- More time between appointments to allow for social distancing standards, and extremely thorough cleaning between each patient.
- Hand sanitizer at the front door when you enter, and at several locations all around the office.
- Our two sterilization techs are cleaning the office on a constant basis.
- Touchless payment options so you don't have to touch your wallet or our processing terminal (please preregister for Apple pay to utilize this service, or a similar touchless payment system).
- We have temporarily suspended our coffee and tea amenities in the lobby, as well as providing communal papers. We will offer beverages upon request.
- Our team will be safely outfitted in a more extensive surgical protection system with medical grade PPE.
We hope these additional precautions don’t seem too drastic. But when it comes to our patients’ health, we prefer to err on the side of caution.
As always, we are reachable by phone at 970-925-7730 or via email at patientcare@andrewturchin.com.
We have missed you, and look forward to welcoming you back!
